Managed Recruitment Scheme

HELPING YOU BUILD A RESOURCE FOR NOW AND THE FUTURE

The Traffic Management industry is massively under-staffed and the only way this will be addressed is by attracting, recruiting and training new candidates. City Recruitment and Resourcing Ltd (CityRR) are pleased to introduce their Managed Recruitment Scheme (MRS), in conjunction with City TM Ltd.

City will recruit, train and develop new staff over a 6-month scheme, providing you with a qualified LANTRA Operative upon completion. All new candidates are Interviewed on a one-to-one basis before we introduce them to you. Once you agree that they are ok to work for you and fit your business, they will receive a Safety Critical Medical, D & A test and TTMBC training before starting.

They will then go on to receive further training from us in whichever schemes that your specific business requires. This scheme can be applied to Sector Scheme 12A, B or D though, and any elements throughout those schemes. We can also add additional qualifications to the scheme on a required basis and should be discussed prior to starting. Some additional competencies are listed below though for your reference.

ADDITIONAL COMPETANCIES

- Yard Cleanliness

- Sign and Equipment Stacking

- Correct Vehicle Loading

- Site Maintenance

- Gateman - Roles and Responsibilities. Dealing with the Public.

- Man on site - Roles and Responsibilities. Dealing with the Public.

- Manual Handling Online Test

- Working at Height Online Test

- Traffic Lights – Using them Correctly (practical on site/yard training)

- A Series of Tool Box Talks Covering Basic Activities.

Competencies will be audited on site or in the client yard by a LANTRA assessor or City Supervisor. These will be signed off in an MRS log book by all parties.

The candidate and client are asked to sign an agreement prior to engagement. The focus of the recruitment process is offering a new candidate the chance to get into a busy industry and sold around the client’s terms of employment and business. The only commitment from a client is a minimum of 50 hours per week (working to your shift or work pattern) and that you treat them as one of the team.

As long as we have done our job properly, you should be happy with the candidate and they will go on to become a valuable employee. If for any reason the candidate is not working out, we will remove them from the scheme after a short KPI period and replace them. You only pay for the time they have been with you. Upon completion the candidate will become a client employee, FREE OF CHARGE..
